Giuliana has always been very imaginative, since she was a child, she loved to craft with paper, her very first passion.
Growing up she experimented with many creative arts starting with bobbin lace, a traditional Italian technique, furniture restoration and decoration, while the passion for writing has always been part of her.
In 2009 she discovered the wonderful and sparkling world of beads: she studied a lot with different teachers and on her own from patterns and tutorials, until she felt she was able to create her own jewellery, coming up with tutorials and teaching herself. She loves every beading technique but her very favourite is bead weaving through which she translates her love for the classical world, the ancient East, and History in general, which got stronger during her classical studies.
An integral part of her work is Color, with which she loves to play to continuously create new combinations: her love for color comes from her birthplace in the north-east of Italy, the beautiful pink of the Dolomites and the blue of the Adriatic Sea, while from her current residence in Tuscany, near Pisa and Lucca, she learned to love the green of the rolling hills and the "Terre".
After working as a journalist for years, she currently dedicates herself full time to her passion, creating and producing designs and jewellery. She published several designs in the Italian magazine Fashion Gems and collaborates with several bead companies; participated also twice in the Botb not for competitive spirit but to improve herself. A selection of her jewels can be admired in high fashion Atelier in Lucca, with which she collaborates. Also in Lucca, he is the president of an association that works to maintain a high level of artistic craftsmanship and to spread it in collaboration with the Municipality, enhancing the places of the historic center with artisan markets of the highest quality.
She currently lives in the countryside, near Pisa with her husband and her five beloved furbabies, nature and the animal world are anintegral part of her life.
